Walt Disney

Pioneering genius, Walt Disney enchanted millions with his magic and power of storytelling. He was a true artist, whose visionnary ideas (often drawn from Europe) and willingness to take risks brought ground-breaking capability to the movies (Steamboat Willie, the first cartoon ever to synchronise music and sound effects). As co-founder of the Disney Brothers Studio (today known as The Walt Disney Company) in 1923 with his brother Roy O. Disney, he made motion picture history with his artistic curiosity and taste for innovation (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, 1937, the first American full length animated feature). Walt Disney proved himself a visionary in the realm of family tourism, opening a Theme Park in southern California: a place where children and their parents could enjoy rides, meet the familiar Disney characters and have fun together.

Walt Disney Studios® Park

The second Theme Park at Disneyland® Paris opened to the public on March 16, 2002. Celebrating the world of cinema, animation and television, the park takes Guests behind the scenes of the filmmaking process. It reveals the fascinating secrets of special effects, stunts and film production. Major attractions include: Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular, CineMagique, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith, Behind the Magic Studio Tram Tour, and the Art of Disney Animation.
