From 1 to 30 April 2013, The Walt Disney Company and Disneyland Paris celebrated the 17th edition of Earth Month. The theme of this edition was "Get outside".
This was an opportunity for Disneyland Paris to share certain environmentally based values with its Cast Members:
To do so, the organizers held a varied number of activities for all: a treasure hunt in the Disneyland Park, cleaning of the backstage areas, meeting the horticulture teams, etc. This allowed thousands of Cast Members to get involved. And for the first time, our guests could be associated to the festivities. The younger guests took part in the hotel workshops on the theme of nature.
On 22 April, more than 510 Cast Members were mobilized for Earth Day on the theme of nature, prepared by the work of the Environment teams.
A video of the 2011 Earth Day is available on our Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdkyzlQjxxs
