Our Disney VoluntEARS

Cast Member Damien Ganem is our Disney VoluntEAR of Year for 2009

Each year The Walt Disney Company recognises the commitment made by its VoluntEARS by designating one VoluntEAR of the Year from each country. At Disneyland Paris this year's winner is Damien Ganem from the Pin Trading & Collectibles team. Twenty-year-old Damien became a Cast Member in 2006 and a Disney VoluntEAR only two months later. Besides his dedication, cheery disposition and flexibility which are demonstrated regularly during Community Relations events, Damien enthusiastically encourages others to become a Disney VoluntEAR. He does this by sharing his experiences with colleagues and even by creating a group on the Facebook social networking website.
His award enabled him to donate a cheque for €2,500 to the charity of his choice. Damien has chosen the Solid'Âges association which fights against exclusion of the elderly.
