Every year, The Walt Disney Company rewards its employees' commitment to the community in each country where it operates. At Disneyland Paris, we have more than 800 Disney VoluntEARS who give their time in offering magic to children and families in need. On July 1st, Luc Gerry from the Guest Flow team was nominated "Disney VoluntEAR of the Year 2010" for France! From the very first moment of his involvement in 1998, Luc has always been a great and constant support in different charity events lead by Disneyland Paris Community Relations department. Luc's strong involvement amounts to several hundred hours per year dedicated to being a Disney VoluntEAR. This nomination will allow him to support a charity association of his choice by offering them a $ 2500 cheque. Luc chose the association "Oscar's Angels" which helps families with children and teenagers suffering from intellectual and physical disabilities or who are in a coma.
Disneyland Paris works with the Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris - Hôpitaux de France to improve daily life for hospitalized children during the 21st edition of the Pièces Jaunes campaign.
Our Disney VoluntEARS donate their time and talent to brightening the lives of children and families in their time of need.
Whether it be the creation of celebrity-decorated Mickey Ears or princess-inspired couture dresses, Disneyland Paris continually collaborates with the community to plan fundraising events to support children's causes.
Disneyland Paris hosts themed Solidarity Days each month, in which partner charities, community organizations and local recreation centers are invited to come enjoy the Resort's varied offerings.

As the place where dreams come true, Disneyland Paris is a privileged place for families to share experiences, emotions, and memories. We are committed to providing the opportunity for seriously ill children and their families to do just that. In partnership with 40 wish-granting charities in Europe, Disneyland Paris fulfilled nearly 700 wishes this year and more than 8000 since opening in 1992.

Hospital visits by Disney VoluntEARS and favorite Disney characters give Cast Members the opportunity to spread joy and fun to children who can't come to the Parks.
