Career mobility is a reality at Disneyland® Paris, where training provides employees with a much-appreciated professional development opportunity. In fact, 70 percent of our managers have been promoted internally. We offer Cast Members the opportunity to acquire solid professional skills through hundreds of courses at the Disney University, a training center certified by AFAQ-AFNOR. In order to reinforce the quality of the services offered to our Guests and develop the skills of our Cast Members, we invest 4,64% of annual payroll in training. Training for Cast Members at all levels is crucial to our human resources policy. Non-managerial Cast Members receive job-specific professional trainings (i.e. food and beverage, boutiques, reception) or can take classes on developing other service skills (i.e. public speaking, interacting with Guests). Manager training sessions focus on developing leadership skills. It is our goal to give Cast Members with little or no experience development opportunity. Many young and talented people have gotten their first job thanks to Disneyland® Paris. To them, we provide an opportunity to gain experience, train and advance. Graduates of our award-winning, 18-month-long "Hôte d'Accueil Touristique" program receive a diploma recognized by the French Ministry of Employment.
