Val d'Europe is the result of an unprecedented public/private partnership signed in 1987 by the French public authorities and The Walt Disney Company, and which was extended until 2030 through an amendment signed on 14 September 2010. This partnership has associated Euro Disney and public partners in a responsible and coherent development for which the economic and social benefits extend to the whole of France.
The immediate proximity of Disneyland Paris, the top tourist destination in Europe for eastern Ile-de-France, played a determining factor in Val d'Europe's development and economic diversity. It also serves as a gauge for quality for residents and businesses that have chosen to settle there.
For 20 years, Euro Disney has contributed to the development of Val d'Europe, a major urban center and economic hub east of Paris near Disneyland Paris which has been recognized with several international awards.
Villages Nature is a project of a new tourist destination with a European scope, designed in partnership with Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs group. The opening is scheduled for 2016.
